Llano Grande 1
Purchased in 2005, Llano Grande 1 has become one of the best-managed teak plantations in Panama. The property contains 50 hectares of teak planted in 1999 and 12 hectares of teak planted in 2002. Panama Teak Forestry´s management has chosen to leave 12 hectares of land in environmentally sensitive areas unplanted. This land is being restored to its native state to improve soil quality and provide animal habitat.
